Introduction post

So, here is the deal. I started writing about the show Survivor a long time ago. That is to say, I started writing minimially about Survivor to work in thinly-veiled references to He-Man, Mortal Kombat, and Saved by the Bell a long time ago as part of a pool at my office. I would write this recaps about the show and, over time, they served as a way to write about the things I have loved dearly - namely, Punky Brewster and that "very special" episode of Diff'rent Strokes where Mr. Carlsen asks Dudley and Arnold to play jungle in the back room of his bike shop.

That started in Season 2. I then went on to write about Season 3. Then, I left that job and, a few years later, started in another office where they were starting up a Survivor pool. I wrote, I think, about season 9. Then, the next season (season 10 - Palau), I wrote not only for the work pool, but actually wrote these recaps, and got paid for them, by a now-defunct website promoting the show. After season 10, however, the website stopped and so did the pool at that job.

Then I left that job and started where I currently work. Here, they also had a tradition of doing Survivor pools. Now, we were up to Season 14 - Fiji. I mentioned that I wrote these things in the past and would, if they wanted me to, contribute by writing recaps for this pool. I did, and everyone loved them.

The End.

OK OK...So, now we are up to season 15...China. And I figure, in order to keep track of these recaps, I would post them on a blog. So, every week, when I write the recaps for work, I will also post them here. Awesome, right? Yes, Awesome.

But wait...there's more! I am also going to post as many of the past recaps as I can find. I will start with last season. This will be Season 14 - Fiji. This is only because these are the only recaps available on this computer. But, once I get home, I will start digging around for earlier seasons and see what I can come up with.

Aren't you glad you came.

Enjoy!
